The Retail Sales Associate role at Del Haven Jewelers is a full-time, on-site position located in Wilmington, DE. In this role, you will greet customers within a timely manner, understand their needs, and guide them through jewelry selections while providing accurate product information and recommendations. You will handle sales transactions, process payments, manage layaways or special orders, and ensure merchandise is presented according to store standards.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and secure showroom, assisting with inventory tasks, and supporting visual merchandising efforts. You will also contribute to meeting sales goals through proactive customer outreach and building long-term client relationships.

• Candidates should possess strong retail sales skills, including the ability to close sales and meet individual and store targets.
• Candidates should possess solid product knowledge skills, with interest in learning about gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry styles.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication, customer Service & Listening skills to engage clients respectfully and build trust.
• Prior experience in jewelry, luxury retail, or a similar customer-facing environment is crucial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle transactions accurately.
• Work a flexible schedule 30-40 hours;
  However, Wednesday & Saturday are a MUST.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining store security and care for high-value items.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in retail, sales, or gemology is preferred.
