Experienced Retail Furniture & Bedding Sales Associates are invited to join one of the nation’s leading department store chains. As a member of a fast‑paced, dynamic sales team, you will develop relationships with customers and ensure that each customer’s needs are met quickly and efficiently. • Build customer confidence, provide accurate product information, and promote products through a successful sale.
• Establish professional, personalized rapport to close sales and deliver the best customer experience.
• Recognize and serve customers in line with company standards (greet, qualify need, close sale).
• Complete customer requests in a timely manner.
• Accurately and efficiently process all transactions and paperwork while adhering to company policies.
• Maintain the appearance of the selling floor and stock area.
• Track daily/weekly sales, keep stock levels, straighten and replenish merchandise, and complete paperwork.
• Stay aware of advertised merchandise.

• Prior retail and/or customer service experience.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Self‑motivated with a professional image.
• Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and telephone.
• Ability to work well with the public, management, and coworkers.
• Basic math skills.
• Willingness to learn selling skills and operate a POS register, computer, and telxon system.
• Availability for varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Draw against commission salary.
