Prospect and develop relationships with wedding planning firms, vendors, and sourcing platforms to grow qualified inquiry volume. Respond to all catering and wedding inquiries promptly and professionally, guiding clients toward solutions that serve both their vision and the hotel's operational success. Conduct site visits and follow up with prospective clients to secure bookings. Prepare accurate proposals, cost estimates, and contracts in a timely manner.
Partner with Banquets and Conference Services to ensure seamless event execution. Develop customized promotions and packages and present recommendations to the Director of Group Sales. Maintain and grow existing accounts to ensure continued client satisfaction and profitability. Stay current on industry trends through professional associations, influencers, and sourcing platforms. Leverage social media and creative prospecting tools to reach couples and event planning firms.
Provide consistent reporting including an annual Strategic Sales Plan for the wedding market. Participate in Sales, Marketing, and Operational meetings. Maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A proven, results-driven sales professional with a passion for luxury hospitality and events. Polished communicator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. A natural relationship builder who earns trust with clients and internal partners alike. Solutions-oriented, with the ability to navigate high-stakes client situations with patience and professionalism. Familiar with the local and regional market, with an eye for emerging opportunities.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
5 years of hospitality sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a luxury property environment.
Prior experience as a Sales Manager with a major luxury hotel brand is strongly preferred.
