Summary
Location:
219 S. College Road, Wilmington, NC 28403.
Role:
Sales Associate – New and Used Vehicles. Responsibilities include selling vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting dealership sales goals.
- Meets dealership sales goals.
- Greets customers and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired.
- Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on demonstration drive.
- Suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase.
- Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade‑in allowance, and discount.
- Completes paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including sales slip or sales contract.
- Arranges for delivery and registration of vehicle.
- Researches availability of models and optional equipment.
- Engages in business development.
- Addresses customer concerns.
- Maintains CSI at or above Company standards.
- Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
- Participates in required training.
- Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
- Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
- Complies with Company policies and procedures.
- Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

GED, High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, Doctorate Degree. - Field of Study/
Work Experience:
Accounting, Automotive, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology. - Desired

up to 3 years, 3-5 years, 5+ years. - Education/
Experience:
Prior sales and/or customer service experience desired. - Certificates and Licenses:
Valid Driver’s License, Automobile Salesperson License.

Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and intermediate ability to learn web applications for customer management. - Communication
Skills:
Ability to understand and follow instructions; ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel. - Attendance Requirements:
Regular and predictable attendance; scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. - Physical Demands:
Regular talk or hearing; frequent standing, walking, and sitting; heavy standing work. - Environment Demands:
Duties performed indoors and outdoors, including customer test drives; exposure to various work environments. - Verbal and Writing Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings. - Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. - Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions; ability to deal with standardized situations.
