Account Manager – Personal Lines
Hybrid work schedule available.
OverviewResponsible for servicing assigned high net worth/private client group personal insurance accounts, including account rounding and development of new business as appropriate and in accordance with the Company’s practices, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Review and analyze personal accounts for coverage, limits, etc., and make appropriate recommendations to clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure all service needs are met.
- Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads and contribute to meeting departmental production goals.
- Gather information from clients and prepare applications regarding new and/or renewal coverage.
- Prepare policy quotes based on client’s needs, rates and coverages.
- Prepare all transactions for assigned accounts, i.e. applications, invoices, forms.
- Maintain the accuracy of data in the agency management system.
- Complete annual client reviews for all Private Client Group clients with revenues of $3,000 and above, and conduct in-person reviews for clients with revenues of $5,000 and above.
- Work closely with commercial producers who may be connected with these accounts and keep them apprised of major issues or changes to the personal insurance program.
- May handle collections of premiums due.
- Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earnings implications of the Company.
- Keep informed of changes and trends within the industry for the purpose of anticipating and responding to profit objectives.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
- Three years of related experience with high net worth personal insurance accounts.
- Thorough knowledge of personal lines coverages and markets with particular knowledge of the high valued marketplace.
- Producer’s license.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Salary range: $88,500 – $115,000. Salary may be adjusted based on skills, experience, location and business line.
