Regional Sales Manager

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 annually with a 35% bonus opportunity under the Sales Incentive Plan. For consideration, candidates must live in or around the following cities:
Sacramento, CA and/or Portland, OR. Preferred candidates are based in Columbus, OH, Wilmington, DE, or Pittsburgh, PA (not mandatory).

This role involves field sales activities, distributor development, and technical knowledge of the product line to support and grow sales in assigned areas.

• Carry demo equipment (including accessories and detergents) on vehicles.
• Ensure market share in the area through recruiting and training qualified distributors.
• Travel and meet with distributors at their location(s).
• Assist distributors in developing their sales, service and parts departments while on site.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge about the product line.
• Know how to sell, operate, and identify equipment and recommend appropriate pieces for different situations.
• Explain the benefits and features of our product line versus the competition.
• Develop a consultant-oriented relationship with all customers serviced in the assigned area.
• Manage an annual sales and expense budget for the assigned area.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Three plus years of successful industrial sales experience
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers when using the telephone and personal computer throughout most of the day and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Works in an office setting, frequent travel required by automobile or airplane.
