Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious and collaborative Account Executive, Advanced Diagnostic Solutions to join our team in the Maryland/Delaware market. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth for our product portfolio across multiple stakeholders and buyers. You will communicate the clinical and economic value of our offerings, coordinate the customer buying process, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long‑term retention.
As the Advanced Diagnostic Solutions Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling the entire portfolio of solutions and performing total account management activities in hospitals and clinical labs within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve and exceed overall sales targets for the DS product portfolio, including Manual Microbiology, Blood Culture, TB, /AST, Molecular Diagnostics, Lab Automation, and IT solutions.
- Develop and implement territory and strategic account sales plans involving multi‑level customers to achieve consensus and grow the book of business.
- Build account strategies while working within a coordinated team‑selling model involving instrument specialists, application specialists, and marketing.
- Manage the sales process across clinical laboratory, infectious disease clinicians, pharmacy, value analysis, and hospital administration.
- Effectively deploy clinically relevant product features, benefits, and economic justification to define the value of our offerings.
- Secure contract renewals and new opportunities while spending 3–4 days per week in the field and meeting minimum daily expectations for in‑person visits with documentation.
- BA/BS in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; MT (ASCP) or Microbiology degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of documented top‑tier sales performance (top 20%) in laboratory products required.
- At least 1 year of clinical laboratory and/or hospital sales experience preferred.
- Combination of clinical market, financial, or technical selling experience required.
Salary ranges are generally $85,000–$110,000 based on experience, education, and skills, plus an $85,000 sales incentive plan. A company vehicle is provided, along with medical, dental, vision benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
RequirementsMinimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week is required; remote or field‑based arrangements may apply depending on the position.
