Salesperson
Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and part knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. Excellent understanding of store inventory and maintenance processes is essential. The position can be part‑time or full‑time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
- Achieve personal sales goal and help the store achieve its sales goals.
- Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper blade installation.
- Maintain store product and operational standards.
- Manage inventory processes including truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, and back‑stock.
- Maintain store cleanliness: floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
- General stocking, including truck stocking and back‑stock.
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
- Basic driving and navigation ability.
- Ability to use delivery board system.
- Friendly communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to locate and stock parts.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and logistics.
- Experience with inventory systems and store equipment.
- Parts and automotive system knowledge.
- Operating POS and parts lookup systems.
- Expertise with testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service.
Job Skills Needed for Success as a Salesperson
- Speak and write English;
Spanish a plus. - Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
- Use basic math accurately.
- Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- 2‑3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.

- Pick up returns and cores.
- Drop off weekly and monthly sales flyers.
- Daily collection of credit accounts.
- Maintain store cleanliness: floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
- General stocking: truck stocking and back‑stock.
- Basic driving and navigation ability.
- Ability to use delivery board system.
- Friendly communication.

- Must have a valid driver's license and fleet safety certification.

The duties of this job include predominantly driving, walking, lifting, and standing. The employee must be able to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance. Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds is required, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
