Regional Sales Manager

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 annually with a 35% bonus opportunity under the Sales Incentive Plan.

Candidates must live in or around Sacramento, CA or Portland, OR. Preferred candidates are based in Columbus, OH, Wilmington, DE, or Pittsburgh, PA, though this is not a mandatory requirement for the right person.

• Carry demo equipment (always including accessories and detergents) on vehicles.
• Ensure market share in area through recruiting and training qualified distributors.
• Travel and meet with distributors at their location(s).
• Assist distributors in the development of their sales, service and parts departments.
• Keep technically up to date about the line.
• Know how to sell, operate, and identify equipment and recommend the appropriate piece for different situations.
• Teach the benefits and features of our product line versus the competition.
• Develop a consultant-oriented relationship with all customers serviced in assigned area.
• Manage an annual sales and expense budget for assigned area.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
• Three plus years of successful industrial sales experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently stand, walk, and sit, occasionally use hands and fingers for telephone and computer use, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Works in an office setting with frequent travel required by automobile or airplane.
