Position Summary
- Account Manager, US Petcare Division; field based.
- Utilize solution selling, territory management, and business planning to maximize sales performance in the assigned geography.
- Travel required and some evening work for educational programs; candidate should live within the territory.
- Meet overall sales objectives (quota) overall and for key growth products via demand generation within targeted geography.
- Launch new products/service offerings and generate new equipment leads.
- Demonstrate Solution Selling capabilities.
- Build and demonstrate relevant technical knowledge, verbal fluency, and veterinary practice expertise.
- Build effective relationships with and service all targeted hospitals/personnel to maintain and grow relevance and access within each account.
- Interact with customers per Zoetis promotional guidelines.
- Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan/Resource Allocation; implement resources and follow up to maximize ROI.
- Meet field activity expectations (sales call activity and investment in medical education programs).
- Develop and execute an account/veterinarian call-cycle to meet reach/frequency expectations.
- Work professionally with colleagues; meet expectations for integrity/compliance, communication, administrative responsibilities, and teamwork.
- BS/BA required.
- 3–10 years consultative sales experience; proven success driving sales performance.
- Animal Health experience and small animal veterinary medicine knowledge.
- Ability to use analytics/insights, manage budgets, work independently, and incorporate feedback.
- Verbal/written/presentation/interpersonal/communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Zoetis systems.

- Ability/willingness to travel and work some evenings as required.
