As a Security Officer Dispatch Console in Bear, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. In this dynamic role, you will monitor communications, coordinate security‑related activity, and support rapid, reliable responses across the location.
You will help maintain organized operations, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to a caring, agile team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Friday 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM
- Saturday 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the financial institution location.
- Monitor dispatch communications, cameras, alarms, and other reporting systems to identify unusual activity and coordinate appropriate responses in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Receive calls for service, prioritize incidents, and relay information to onsite personnel, building contacts, and emergency responders while maintaining clear and accurate communication.
- Document incidents, activity logs, and dispatch records with attention to detail, helping to support reporting requirements and follow‑up on security‑related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity while supporting daily operations and incident response.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
