Delaware Park Casino & Racing seeks a Security Shift Supervisor to lead daily security operations across our casino, racing, and entertainment venues. In this fast-paced, guest-focused role, you will supervise security officers, coordinate patrols, monitor activity, and respond to incidents to ensure a safe, compliant environment. Responsibilities include incident reporting, regulatory and gaming compliance, asset protection, access control, and collaboration with gaming and hospitality teams.
You will coach and develop staff while upholding high standards of hospitality, integrity, and teamwork in a 24/7 operation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily security shift operations across casino and racing areas
- Assign posts, manage schedules, and support security officers on duty
- Monitor surveillance and patrol reports to identify risks and incidents
- Respond to disturbances, emergencies, and medical situations promptly
- Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and policies
- Conduct incident reporting, documentation, and evidence preservation
- Coordinate with gaming, racing, and hospitality teams to support events
- Train, coach, and evaluate security staff performance and procedures
- Assist with access control, key control, and asset protection processes
- Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies as needed
