Facilities Technician

Working Shift

Working COP - B shift (rotating days).

• Perform effective monitoring of equipment performance.
• Maintain and stay current with SOP requirements and compliance.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on various facilities equipment systems (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, High Purity Water, Wastewater, etc.).
• Ensure timely completion of all p/m's and work orders in your area of responsibility.
• Facilitate and coordinate services with outside vendors and contractors and ensure successful completion of tasks.
• Respond to trouble calls quickly and safely to minimize downtime.
• Support and assist with shutdown planning and execution.
• Overtime required as needed, including holidays.
• Must be able to work at various heights and limited crawl spaces.

• Technical trade training or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Facilities Maintenance related experience.
• Must observe and comply with all standard safety codes and practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to be successful in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Must be able to interpret detailed plans, specifications, operating manuals, and other written materials associated with trade.
• Massachusetts State Grade 2 Wastewater License must be obtained within one year of employment.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $35 to $48.

Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
