Technician, Field Svc II

About the Role

We are looking for a Field Technician in Dover, DE to diagnose and repair Canon products, providing customer‑facing operational, maintenance, and networking support.

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple Canon product groups, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on‑site maintenance to meet and exceed customer demands.
• Maintain and submit field service reports, expense reports, and manage assigned Canon property.
• Provide solutions for escalated technical and customer service issues for any requested territory.

• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required) and 1‑2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF new‑hire class.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and willingness to travel.
• Ability to obtain required customer security and/or other clearances.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and being active more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
• COVID‑19 vaccination or compliance with customer policies, if required.

Hourly rate: $26.50‑$30.75, with eligibility for a transportation allowance.

Full‑time, on‑site. The position requires full‑time presence at the assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory on scheduled workdays.
