Imperial Transit is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in the Wilmington, Delaware area.
Diesel Mechanic / Welder – Wilmington, DEWe're looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, and has experience maintaining diesel trucks and trailers.
Welding experience is required.
- Pay: Starting at $25/hour
- Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week
- Location: Wilmington, DE
- Full‑time position with consistent work
- Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Complete welding and fabrication repairs as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and air brake systems
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Experience as a diesel mechanic
- Must know how to weld
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
