Technician, Field Svc - Georgetown, DE

Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional service and efficient maintenance of Canon‑supported products in accordance with Service and Parts Standards.

Territory:
Georgetown, DE and surrounding areas.

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with accurate documentation and record keeping.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on‑site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
• Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
• Facilitate performance at a level that helps achieve branch/district metric targets.

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments; complete the 120‑day introductory period and PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel as required.
• Obtain all required security and/or other clearances needed to enter customers’ premises.
• Lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
• Compliance with customer policies, including potential COVID‑19 vaccination and related measures.

Base salary range: $19.00–$25.49 hourly. The role is eligible for a transportation allowance.

Full‑time on‑site; requires full‑time presence at the assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory on scheduled workdays.
