Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. (JLL) is seeking a Mechanical Technician to support commercial properties within our global real estate portfolio. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, mechanical, and building systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, responding to service requests, monitoring building automation systems, and maintaining accurate work orders.

You'll collaborate with facilities and property teams to meet client expectations in a performance-driven, safety-focused environment that values integrity, innovation, and continuous learning. JLL offers career growth across high-profile real estate and sustainability-focused projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, mechanical, and building systems in JLL-managed properties.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose root causes, and complete timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor building automation systems and adjust settings for comfort, reliability, and energy efficiency.
  • Complete work orders and maintenance records in the CMMS accurately and on time.
  • Inspect equipment, identify risks, and recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacements.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and PPE, and comply with building and regulatory standards.
  • Support vendors and contractors during major repairs and capital projects.
  • Collaborate with property and facilities teams to meet client service-level and performance expectations.
