AboutThe Role
We are seeking dedicated Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you will complete student evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and provide therapy services aligned with students’ needs and physician orders. Candidates may start as early as this summer, continue into the new school year, or apply for school‑year‑only openings.
Responsibilities- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Document services accurately and in compliance with district and professional standards
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Active SLP licensure in‑state or out‑of‑state
- Out‑of‑state candidates must apply for Delaware reciprocity and obtain DE licensure before starting
- CCC‑SLP preferred (may be required depending on assignment)
- Compliance with all professional standards of practice
- CPR certification, if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X‑ray, if required
- Current health certificate, if required by state/contract
- Must be 18 years or older
