Workforce Development Specialist
The Workforce Development Specialist will support members of the Recovery Cafe who are in recovery from addiction, homelessness, and/or mental health challenges by providing employment training, job placement services, and ongoing support to enhance their ability to secure and retain meaningful employment. This job role is crucial in helping individuals rebuild their lives and achieve self-sufficiency through meaningful employment, playing a pivotal role in their long-term recovery and success.
This position is primarily scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with responsibilities split between our Wilmington Recovery Café and Newark Recovery Hub locations. Occasional schedule adjustments, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, may be required to meet program, participant, or organizational needs.
