Mainframe Developer

• DB2 (≥ V10), SQL, CICS, VSAM
• IMS DB/DC, Pacbase, REXX, CLIST
• z/OS COBOL II, JCL, TSO, Easytrieve, ISPF
• Knowledge of J2EE, Web services, Cloud‑based technologies/systems and their interaction with Mainframe technologies
• Retail Banking, Core Banking systems experience
• Agile methodology, SDLC

• IDEs such as Topaz, RDz
• Soap UI, Toad
• Job Scheduling tools:
  Zeke (preferred), Control‑M, CA‑7
• Configuration management tools:
  Change Man (preferred)
• IBM utilities: IDCAMS, SORT, etc.
• Archival and reporting tools: CA‑View, SAR (preferred)
• File transfer protocols like sFTP and tools like File Mover
• Jira, Confluence, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint mandatory)

• Design, develop, and unit test software on a predefined schedule using technologies, techniques, and tools to ensure high quality, performance, and reliability at varying levels of complexity.
• Write well‑documented programs that perform effectively and efficiently, following department coding standards.
• Perform system analysis and design in accordance with established procedures and policies.
• Provide accurate estimates of time needed to complete work.
• Proactively explore the system and learn.
• Collaborate with QA teams and administer code migrations in various environments and production outputs.
• Manage all production systems, recommend ways to optimize performance, provide solutions to problems, and prepare reports for all problems.
• Independently own and develop code and microservices as per customer requirements, address and resolve application issues, provide updates and perform root cause analysis.
• Excellent team player and able to efficiently deliver results with minimum supervision.
• Excellent oral, written and listening communication skills (in both office‑based and remote workplace environments).
• Flexibility: responsibilities may require occasional evening and weekend work.
• Ability to excel in a short timeframe under short sprints.

Salary Range – $90,000 – $110,000 per year
