Python Developer

Location: Wilmington, DE
Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $65.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Python Developer to design, build, and deliver production-grade software and AI/ML solutions
. This role is onsite in Wilmington, DE, and Columbus, OH
, offering the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to high-impact projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and debug production-quality Python code
  .
• Build and maintain features, components, and services.
• Design and implement machine learning models and pipelines
  .
• Participate in system and platform design discussions
  .
• Enforce SDLC best practices and security standards
  .
• Solve complex, ambiguous technical problems.
• Collaborate across product, data, and infrastructure teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
• Make independent technical and design decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development
  .
• Strong background in production software engineering
  .
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Tensor Flow, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and Dev Ops practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases
  .
• Exposure to financial services or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.
