Senior Full-Stack AI Developer

Overview

We're seeking a Senior Full‑Stack AI Developer for our AI & Data Science team in Wilmington, DE (hybrid). The role involves designing and launching both traditional software and generative AI applications.

• Design, architect, implement and product ionize applications across traditional software and Generative AI use cases.
• Partner with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver intuitive, high‑quality user experiences.
• Lead high‑impact initiatives across Manufacturing, Legal, Finance, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement and Sales.
• Identify, design, and integrate Generative AI solutions into existing workflows to deliver measurable value.
• Own product direction for assigned solutions, including roadmap definition, backlog prioritization and release planning.
• Mentor and accelerate the work of junior developers, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Data Engineering, Office 365 teams for approvals, architecture, security and governance reviews.
• Address technical debt and build scalable, reusable architectures that are well‑documented and compliant with security and compliance standards.
• Organize and lead user workshops to identify high‑ROI use cases.
• Manage the full lifecycle of deployed applications: debugging, enhancements, upgrades and continuous improvement driven by user feedback and evolving technology.

• Volume and speed of high‑ROI apps deployed to production.
• Quality of UX and code (user feedback, ROI, usage).
• Cost and time required for development and maintenance.
• Reusability and scalability of solution and codebase for other use cases.
• Frequency of team acceleration through peer programming, debugging help and mentoring.

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years building enterprise‑grade applications, preferably with Microsoft Azure tools (Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, Azure resources & platforms).
• 5+ years of advanced backend development with Python.
• 5+ years of advanced backend development with JavaScript.
• Minimum 4+ years UI & frontend development with React.js, Type Script and HTML.
• 2+ years designing, coding and deploying custom GenAI GPTs and multi‑agent GenAI systems in production (using Python).
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to translate user needs into technical specifications.

• Experience designing and launching Copilot Studio GenAI agents.
• Experience with PyTorch, including training and fine‑tuning pre‑trained models and evaluating model performance.
• Strong experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for AI and software systems in Azure‑based environments.
• Enthusiasm for staying current with AI and machine learning advances and translating research into production‑ready solutions.
• Azure Kubernetes experience.
• Knowledge graph design and ontology creation (e.g., Fabric IQ or Neo4j).
