Abinitio/ ETL developer

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages: ETL solutions, such as Ab Initio (strongly desired), Informatica, Data Stage
• Understanding of software skills such as development, business analysis, support, maintenance and software improvement
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Experience in UNIX and/or AIX operating environment and UNIX shell scripting is required
• Strong knowledge on database concepts and SQL
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Working experience as Agile developer and good understanding of SDLC methodologies/guidelines
• Knowledge on any Data profiling or Data quality tool is preferred
• Knowledge of Object Oriented programming languages like Java/Scala
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop/HIVE/Spark
