Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE
2) with a strong background in AI-powered applications and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure AI services and a proven track record in implementing advanced AI architectures. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

• Design and develop AI-powered applications utilizing Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, and related frameworks.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using vector databases and semantic retrieval techniques.
• Develop orchestration workflows that integrate AI agents with human-in-the-loop review processes.
• Build cloud-native applications using Python and API-based architectures.
• Deploy AI solutions on Azure, leveraging managed services and secure cloud patterns.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure the successful integration of AI technologies into existing systems.

• Proven experience with Azure AI services and deployment of AI solutions on Azure.
• Hands-on implementation of RAG architectures using vector databases (e.g., Chroma, Pinecone).
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with API-based architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in AI application development and cloud technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with agentic AI platform implementations.
• Knowledge of AI Foundry, Lang Chain, Lang Graph, or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of semantic retrieval techniques.
