We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to support regional material deliveries and yard operations. This role involves operating a variety of vehicles including semi trucks, flatbeds while ensuring safe and efficient transport of materials between job sites, fabrication facilities, and yard locations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform local and regional deliveries with a home-daily schedule
Transport materials between:
- Job sites
- Fabrication shop
- Yard locations (including low-speed yard operations ~30 mph)
Operate equipment including:
- Semi trucks
- Flatbed trailers
- Peterbilt trucks
- Yard jockey / rider power units
Secure loads using chains, straps, and wood supports
Ensure all shipments are safe, compliant, and properly secured in accordance with DOT regulations
Coordinate with material handlers (who typically load trucks)
Assist with unloading, often supported by crane operations

Equipment Used

Flatbed trailers
Semi trucks (including Peterbilt)
Yard jockey vehicles for on-site transport

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL required
Must meet DOT compliance standards
Experience with flatbed hauling preferred
Ability to properly secure loads using chains and straps
Strong attention to safety and detail
