Duties
Wilmington High School is currently seeking applications for an Industrial Arts teaching vacancy for the school year. The candidate must have experience in home construction and carpentry. The primary teaching assignment is a home building project from start to finish. This construction course provides experience and activities designed around safety, power tools, and construction-related math. Emphasis will be placed on: footings and foundations, masonry, framing, sheathing, wiring, plumbing, roofing, and siding.
Qualifications
Previous experience and knowledge in home building - carpentry and other construction-related areas. Successful applicants should possess or be eligible for an appropriate Illinois Professional Educator License and/or a required Provisional License.
