Job Summary

Ryder is hiring a Non‑CDL Truck Driver in Wilmington, IL. The position offers weekly pay, a daily local home route, and a range of benefits designed for long‑term career growth.

• Weekly pay starting $900 per week.
• Hourly pay $22.50 per hour.
• Average 40+ hours per week, from Sunday to Wednesday, first start time 5:00 am.
• Paid training and schedule support.

• Safely handle and maneuver tractor trailers on the yard.
• Operate locally on a daily home run schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate records, logs and move/yard inventory.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Verifiable driving experience with similar equipment: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and Yard Driver Examination.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations and policies.
