Warehouse Team Leader

Position

Permanent Full‑time Team Lead – Wilmington, Illinois.

• Hourly Pay: $23/hour
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday–Tuesday 5 pm–4:30 am (overnight shift);
  Wednesday 5 pm–10:45 pm
• Weekly pay

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform a variety of warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in orienting employees and provide necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead (preferred)
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience (preferred)
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience (preferred)
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner (advanced required)
• Valid forklift operator's license (certified)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proactively approaches responsibilities
• Maintains composure under pressure
• Works using health and safety methods
• Bilingual (for Québec locations only)
