Material Handlers are responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing, and distributing materials throughout the warehouse.
Key responsibilities include:
- Frequently lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing up to 55 pounds.
- Safely operating warehouse equipment and following all safety procedures.
- Loading and unloading trucks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and shipping documentation.
- Completing required paperwork and documentation in accordance with established work instructions.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and order pickers, as assigned.
- Employees assigned to order picker operations will work at heights of approximately 25–30 feet and must wear employer-provided fall protection equipment at all times while performing elevated tasks.
Successful candidates will:
- Demonstrate a strong and reliable work history.
- Be committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Successfully complete a drug screening and physical examination.
