Job Overview
Ametros is changing the way individuals navigate healthcare by providing them with the tools and support necessary to make educated decisions on how to spend their medical funds. The Claims Receipt Processor is primarily responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reimbursements of receipts submitted by our members.
ResponsibilitiesThe role works closely with claim administrators and the member care team to keep members happy and compliant with their settlements. This position requires excellent phone and email skills and the ability to explain coverage in an understandable way to members.
Skills and Abilities- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent critical thinking and decision‑making skills.
- Good administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt communication style depending on audience.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiar with the language of medical billing, Medicare guidelines and/or workers’ compensation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Education:
H.S. Diploma or GED required. - Experience:
0‑2 years experience as a Claims Processor or in a related role required.
The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00
USD to $23.00
USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for incentive compensation.
