Job DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement lesson plans consistent with the teacher’s guidelines, and school curriculum.
- Maintain an orderly classroom environment and provide a positive learning experience.
- Familiarize yourself with emergency protocols, such as fire drills and lockdowns.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
- Carry out lesson plan instructions from the classroom teacher, and/or create lesson plans in the absence of a prepared lesson.
- Create and maintain discipline and classroom control that fosters a safe and productive learning environment in accordance with school policies.
- Other assignments as assigned by building administrators.

Substitute Rates- Day to day:
- Educational Assistant or Teacher (no degree or certification) – $110 per day.
- Teacher (bachelor’s degree or certified) – $120 per day.
- 31–59 days in the same assignment:
- $130 per day without a DESE license.
- $140 per day with a DESE license.
- 60–89 days in the same assignment:
- $150 per day without a DESE license.
- $160 per day with a DESE license.
- 90 or more days in the same assignment: $299.51 per day (must have a DESE license).
Position Type: Part‑time
Salary: $110 to $120 per day
Job Requirements- Experience working with children.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
