Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $160 to $160 Per Day
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide direct small group or one‑to‑one services in a pull‑out model or within the classroom setting.
- Track progress using data collection.
- Consult with the supervising SLP to develop and monitor goals for students.
- Provide services and maintain programs based on goals set by IEP or Learning Plan.
- Serve individual children in one‑to‑one or small group settings as appropriate.
- Consult classroom teachers to better meet individual children’s communication needs within the group.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate the speech/language program into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with the team to create educational plans for annual reviews and provide input for students involved in the three‑year re‑evaluation or initial evaluation.
- Attend parent conferences as needed.
- Maintain a positive learning environment.
- Perform other duties as designated by the Principal/Director of Student Support Services or their designee.
- Provide summer services as required by student IEPs.
- License in SLP‑A.
- Previous experience as an SLP‑A in a public school setting.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
