DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effective planning and assessment of curriculum and instruction
• Create lesson plans, aligned with current state and district standards that meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of all students
• Establish and maintain a safe, organized classroom, which is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students
• Use available technology/instructional media to enhance the students' learning experiences
• Implement the district's mission, philosophy of education and instructional standards and objectives
• Observe and evaluate students' performance and, when necessary, seek the assistance of district specialists as required when learning difficulties arise
• Assess and document student progress on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required
• Support school-wide behavior expectations in which most students are engaged, incorporate mutual respect and provide cooperative learning opportunities
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships and open lines of communication with students, colleagues, and parents concerning the academic and behavioral progress of assigned students
• Attend staff, data, professional learning community meetings as required
• Other related duties as assigned

Salary: $160 to $160 Per Day

• Experience Preferred:
  Bachelor's degree required;
  Experience working with Kindergarten students;
  Safety Care Certification;
  Responsive Classroom Training; SEI Endorsement.
• Additional Requirements:
  
  MA License:
  Early Childhood Education PreK‑2;
  At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred;
  Master degree preferred;
  Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
