Job Title: Instructional Designer

Location: Wilmington, MA (Hybrid 1-2 days/week onsite; local candidates only)
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop and deliver engaging learning solutions that support business and technical training initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, curriculum development, and training delivery across multiple formats.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain training materials for eLearning, Instructor-Led Training (ILT), and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT).
  • Create technical training programs for Oracle or similar ERP systems.
  • Develop training content aligned with business processes, workflows, and organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
  • Manage multiple training projects and deliverables within complex, matrixed environments.
  • Utilize various instructional design methodologies and learning technologies to enhance learner engagement.
  • Facilitate training sessions when required.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in instructional design, adult learning, and curriculum development.
  • Hands-on experience developing eLearning, ILT, and VILT training programs.
  • Experience creating technical training content for Oracle or similar ERP platforms.
  • Strong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous learning design methodologies.
  • Ability to design training programs that support business processes and operational workflows.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of training tools, content development technologies, and delivery methods.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior facilitation and classroom training delivery experience.
  • Experience working in large, cross-functional, and matrixed organizations.
