About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Wilmington, MA. This is a full-time position supporting students in Grades 1–3 within a Social/Emotional & Behavior program. The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction, implement behavioral and academic strategies, manage IEPs, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs.
  • Support students with social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
  • Implement positive behavioral interventions and classroom management strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, support staff, and families.
  • Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students in achieving their academic, behavioral, social, and emotional goals.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education License for Grades 1–3 required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with social/emotional and behavioral needs preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
