Electrical Test Engineer II/lll
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities- Provide test engineering support to identify and develop necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities in accordance with customer specifications and requirements for both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter.
- Requirements gathering and analysis based on engineering design documentation.
- Interface with product development and systems teams to determine appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirements.
- Fulfill daily responsibilities including research and developing electrical design concepts, performance calculations, and hands‑on support of lab testing and troubleshooting.
- Grow electrical engineering expertise through opportunities in analog and digital circuits, cable design, and debugging of electrical assemblies.
- Perform data collection activities including setup and operation of high‑speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders.
- Develop aspects of test stations utilizing state‑of‑the‑art PXI, LAN, USB, and other instrumentation in a context of automated parametric measurements.
- Utilize scripting languages for programming low‑level instrumentation for measurement gathering.
- Assist with the design, development, and documentation of test equipment required for new and existing electronic products, and assist with transition of this equipment to Production Test Engineering.
- Author process, test, documentation, and calibration procedures geared for all audiences.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and minimum of 2 years of related experience (Level II).
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and minimum of 5 years of related experience (Level III).
- Active Secret clearance preferred;
Secret eligibility required.
- Level II: $89,800 – $135,600
- Level III: $112,400 – $171,000
