Engineering Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Engineering Technician for a Fulltime position with a client located in Wilmington, MA
.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000/ Year(The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

-Frida 8-5

Primary:
Candidate should have an Assoc EE degree or at least 5 years of AC-DC power experience. Should have some Thermal testing. Good working knowledge of power conversions. Will be working along side a team of 4-6 Sr. EE's in their LAB (not a clean room).

• Associate Degree in Electronics, Electro Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong working knowledge of AC and DC circuits and electrical power principles.
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Hands on experience with electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, power analyzers, electronic loads, and data acquisition systems.
• Ability to track, maintain, and ensure calibration of all thermal lab test equipment.
• Experience setting up liquid cooling systems, including chillers, pressure gauges, and cold plates.
• Solid understanding of heat transfer fundamentals and thermal resistance concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and test specifications.
• Strong soldering skills, including thermocouple preparation.
• Basic machining abilities, including operation of drill presses and milling machines for preparing copper or aluminum test fixtures.
• Experience with FLIR thermal imaging cameras and associated analysis software.
