Senior ATE Mechanical Engineer for Automated Test Equipment development. Applicants should have a strong background in designing and generating drawings for all aspects of ATE development, including release to production.

• Design and document interconnect diagrams, rack assemblies, altered items, cable assemblies, interface modules, parts lists / BOMs, and interface test adaptors.
• Design mounting fixtures, thermal / vibration fixtures, and other mechanical assemblies with attention to detailing, dimensioning, and configuration management.
• Perform 3D modelling and ANSYS structural analysis of fixtures.
• Investigate parts compatibility and tolerances, produce release‑quality drawings, check conformance to standards, specifications, and requirements, and submit outputs directly to a configuration management system.
• Manage parts ordering and receipt.
• Generate presentation packages for and participate in electrical / mechanical design reviews.

• Test equipment console layout, ITA design, electrical/mechanical drafting, 2D and 3D design and modeling, configuration management practices, knowledge of Mil/ASME standards, machining/manufacturing processes, materials/finishes, thermal calculations/management, design review preparation, and technical presentation package/document development.

• Required tools and systems:
  Siemens NX (3D/2D), Visio, Enovia/Matrix Product Data Manager, ANSYS, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Powerpoint.

• Experience in PCB layout and routing is a plus.

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of test equipment development experience.

• An existing U.S. security clearance is desired; the ability to obtain one is required.

Salary ranges (consistent with experience):
Level III: $115,800 - $176,200
Level IV: $146,500 - $224,500
