Responsibilities
- Architect data converter solutions to meet diverse application requirements, focusing on state‑of‑the‑art multi‑GHz sample rate and bandwidth.
- Develop and implement calibration algorithms for digitally‑assisted analog circuits.
- Design challenging transistor‑level circuits.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers, working across multiple sites and teams.
- Prepare effective design documents and conduct engaging design reviews.
- Guide layout, evaluation, and test engineering teams.
- Mentor other design engineers.
- M.S. or beyond in Electrical Engineering.
- 20+ years of experience in CMOS design.
- Proven track record and technical expertise in high‑speed data converter design, including architectures such as pipeline ADC, SAR ADC, or current‑steering DAC.
- Intimate understanding of time‑interleaved data converters.
- Experience designing wide‑bandwidth amplifiers, comparators, switched‑capacitor circuits, precision voltage and current references, and LDOs.
- Experience with Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulation tools.
- Signal‑processing knowledge a plus, especially for calibration algorithms.
- Experience with MATLAB for behavioral modeling.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a large team.
The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $184,030 to $266,485. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
