Structural Analyst II/III

This role is in Textron System's Weapon Systems business area.
We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing structural analysis and design of flight vehicles in the Strategic Missiles Business Line.
- Using CAD models, FEA tools, and other structural analysis software.
- Generating structural characteristics and responses using commercial off-the-shelf tools (Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB) and Textron developed software tools.
- Defining recommended changes to improve the performance/efficiency of structural design features.
- Summarizing results and design application techniques via presentations and design analysis reports.
- Up to 5% travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 2 years' of experience in structural analysis and design (Level II).
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 5 years' of experience in structural analysis and design (Level III).
- Demonstrated capability/experience in the use of COTS structural/mechanical tools (Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB) and a desire to obtain a working knowledge of Textron developed software.
- Demonstrated capability/experience in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to document structural analysis methodology and results.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Active security clearance is preferred, eligibility for clearance is required.
