Job Title
Position located in Wilmington, MA
Responsibilities- Assemble, integrate, and test mechanical, electrical, and electronic components and systems.
- Perform wiring, cable assembly, mechanical assembly, and equipment integration using hand tools and standard shop equipment.
- Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot hardware, identify issues, and implement practical solutions.
- Support the transition of engineering designs and prototypes into repeatable manufacturing processes.
- Assist with developing, improving, and documenting manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and assembly processes.
- Perform product inspections and quality-control checks to ensure components and finished systems meet specifications.
- Assist with inventory, materials, and supply-chain activities to support production schedules.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
- Use CAD software to review designs, make basic modifications, and support engineering and manufacturing activities.
- Communicate technical concepts, project updates, issues, and results effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams.
- Support multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and solving mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical problems.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, cable assemblies, wiring, and electronics.
- Proficiency with hand tools and common mechanical/electrical assembly equipment.
- Experience with product inspection, quality control, and/or manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with supply-chain, inventory, or materials-management activities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Experience with CAD software;
Solid Works preferred. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
