Leadership Role in Advanced Electromechanical Sensing Technologies
Join an innovative engineering organization developing advanced electromechanical sensing technologies and fluid/electrical systems used in highly regulated applications. This leadership role provides end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle, driving new product development, sustaining engineering, technical innovation, and engineering team growth while partnering closely with customers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and mentor the Product Engineering organization to support strategic growth initiatives and engineering excellence.
- Provide technical and organizational leadership across the full product lifecycle, including NPD, advanced development, production support, and sustaining engineering.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement for electromechanical sensing and fluid/electrical system products to enhance performance, reliability, and competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems, design controls, configuration management, and product reliability requirements.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while developing technical talent and future leaders.
- Champion new technologies, tools, and methodologies that improve engineering scalability and execution.
- Manage multiple engineering programs, priorities, and project portfolios while delivering on schedule and business objectives.
- Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to provide responsive technical support and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Balance hands-on technical leadership with effective people management and strategic decision-making.
- BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years leading engineering teams within a product development environment.
- Experience with performance management, coaching, talent development, and team building.
- 5+ years of design and development experience with electromechanical sensing products and fluid/electrical systems.
- Proven ownership of products from concept through production and sustainment.
- Experience managing engineering project portfolios and multiple concurrent work streams.
- Background in regulated industries with familiarity supporting FAA certification requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using engineering design and analysis tools.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
