Test Engineer II/III

This role is in Textron System's Weapon Systems business area.
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing planning, coordination, and execution of component, subsystem, and system level tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program.
- Preparing and/or reviewing test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews, and test reports for functional, environmental, and field tests.
- Supporting in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of data acquisition systems, accelerometers, strain gauges, high speed cameras, and other test instrumentation.
- Supporting test activities including product installation, integration, test, data acquisition, and analysis.
- Performing preliminary "quick look" analysis and providing post-test debriefs to engineering team and customers.
- Coordinating with appropriate program, engineering, and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting phases.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 2 years related experience (Level II).
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5 years related experience (Level III).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in system-level and mechanical structure testing for defense or aerospace programs.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD standards (MIL-STD 810 or SMC-S-016).
- Knowledge and/or experience using electrical/mechanical test instrumentation is a plus.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain Government Security Clearance;
Active Secret clearance preferred. - Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills.
This role is open at multiple levels. Candidates will be hired at a level consistent with their background and experience.
Level II: $92,600 - $139,600
Level III: $115,800 - $176,200
