About This Role We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing planning, coordination, and execution of component, subsystem, and system level tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program.
- Preparing and/or reviewing test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews, and test reports for functional, environmental, and field tests.
- Supporting in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of data acquisition systems, accelerometers, strain gauges, high speed cameras, and other test instrumentation.
- Performing preliminary "quick look" analysis and providing post-test debriefs to engineering team and customers.
- Coordinating with appropriate program, engineering, and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting phases.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 2+ years related experience (Level II). Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years related experience (Level III). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in system-level and mechanical structure testing for defense or aerospace programs Familiarity with MIL-STD standards (MIL-STD 810 or SMC-S-016) Knowledge and/or experience using electrical/mechanical test instrumentation is a plus Must be able to obtain/maintain Government Security Clearance;
Active Secret clearance preferred Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills
