Innovation Support Engineer

Uni First is seeking an Innovation Support Engineer to help test, deploy, and scale new technologies and process improvements in our manufacturing and service operations. In this hands-on role, you'll assist with trials of new equipment and workflows, collect and analyze performance data, document procedures, and train frontline teams. You'll troubleshoot issues, track KPIs such as throughput, quality, and safety, and support continuous improvement across facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and optimization of new manufacturing and service innovations across Uni
• First production and facility operations
• Assist engineers with testing, data collection, and analysis for process improvements and new equipment trials
• Document procedures, test results, and standard work to ensure repeatable, scalable solutions
• Train frontline staff on new tools, workflows, and safety practices related to innovation projects
• Troubleshoot issues with implemented solutions and coordinate fixes with engineering, IT, and operations teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback on pilot initiatives
• Monitor KPIs such as throughput, quality, uptime, and safety to measure project impact
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and ROI for leadership
