Job DescriptionGPI is seeking a Civil Site Engineering Project Manager to join our growing New England operations in our Salem, NH, or Wilmington, MA office. We have a backlog of exciting projects ranging from residential developments to various commercial projects and everything in between. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the work they perform and a strong desire to succeed.

- Managing challenging and varying land development projects including a variety of nationally branded clients
- Leading a team of experienced engineers and technicians
- Mentoring junior staff
- Communicating with clients and local and state agencies and attending public hearings
- Managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Writing contracts and reviewing invoices
- Ensuring the technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various project plans, reports, and design documents
- "Hands on" preparation of construction drawings, plans, and project specifications
- Performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
- Partnering with your managing team to meet your future goals and vision
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Experience in land development design including site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion & sediment control
- Experience in project management
- Communication skills for public hearings and working with public agencies
- Qualifications:
A PE license is preferred, successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is required - 8+ years of experience with site development, grading, drainage, and stormwater management
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Experience in HydroCAD
- Requirements Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
- Possess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job site
- Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
- Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
- Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working
