Responsibilities- Hands on characterization and bring up of hardware and firmware components.
- Utilize lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies and spectrum analyzers to gather data on new hardware designs.
- Based on data gathered, drive schematic or firmware changes to improve performance.
- Document performance and procedures to enable other users to utilize designs.
- Work directly with customers to understand their requirements for next generation systems and incorporate these requirements into new, industry-leading, hardware and software solutions.
- BSEE or BSCS degree program.
- Experience with C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, LabVIEW, Python.
- Solid background in analog, digital and mixed signal circuits.
- Desire to work on complex hardware and software problems at both a theoretical and hands‑on level.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $87,188 to $119,906. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
- This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
- This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
