Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Enterprise IT Infrastructure to lead the strategic planning, implementation, and management of our organization's IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of enterprise-wide systems, including data centers, cloud platforms, networks, IT Service Desk and IT operations.
As a key leader within the IT organization, you will collaborate with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and IT teams to drive innovation, optimize performance, and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & IT Infrastructure Management- Develop and execute the long‑term strategy for enterprise IT infrastructure, aligning with business objectives.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
- Drive innovation by adopting emerging technologies to improve efficiency, security, and scalability.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for mission‑critical systems.
- Manage enterprise‑wide networking, storage, servers, virtualization, and data center operations.
- Lead IT infrastructure teams in optimizing system performance, reliability, and uptime.
- Establish and enforce best practices for IT service management (ITSM) and operational excellence.
- Oversee infrastructure automation, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
- Implement and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and IT governance standards to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Ensure IT infrastructure meets regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST).
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate security risks and enforce best practices.
- Develop and maintain enterprise disaster recovery and incident response plans.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of IT infrastructure professionals.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and partners.
- Oversee IT procurement, budgeting, and cost optimization for infrastructure projects.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- BS in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience with minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including managing enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing (Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with virtualization, hypervisors, storage solutions, Security and networking technologies.
- Proficiency in IT service management frameworks (ITIL).
- Familiarity with Dev Ops, automation, and infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) practices.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, AWS/Azure Solutions, PMP, or CCNP preferred.
- Experience in leading digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Up to 20% travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
- The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed bi‑weekly.
