About the Role
We are seeking a Senior PLM Engineer to manage and maintain the IT Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, ensuring accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) management, engineering change control, and alignment across IT, Supply Chain, Engineering, and vendor partners. This role will be responsible for driving BOM lifecycle activities from creation through approval, procurement, and implementation while ensuring data accuracy across Teamcenter, SAP, and related systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong PLM expertise, preferably with Teamcenter, along with experience supporting IT infrastructure products, including servers, storage, networking, and low-voltage cabling. Success in this role requires a highly organized professional who can bridge multiple teams, drive process compliance, and maintain visibility into change management and procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT infrastructure BOMs within the PLM system.
• Partner with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to define and maintain BOM structures for new and existing sites.
• Create, update, and maintain assemblies and part structures as required.
• Prepare and submit Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Track ECNs through approval workflows and ensure timely processing.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to ensure BOMs are properly transferred into SAP.
• Monitor BOM, procurement, and change management activities to ensure alignment across all teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and Supply Chain to support timely purchase order creation and fulfillment.
• Escalate issues impacting approvals, procurement timelines, or project delivery.
• Maintain accurate status reporting for BOMs, ECNs, requisitions, and purchase orders.
• Organize and communicate ECN, PR, and PO status to stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Provide weekly updates on program status, risks, and concerns.
• Stay informed of infrastructure and system changes that may require BOM updates or modifications.
• Act as a key liaison between IT, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, and external vendors.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
• Experience managing BOMs, product structures, and engineering change processes.
• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter or a similar PLM platform.
• Strong understanding of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), change control processes, and product data management.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers, storage, networking equipment, and structured cabling.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Teamcenter administration or advanced user experience.
• Experience supporting data center, warehouse automation, or enterprise IT infrastructure deployments.
• Experience working with procurement, sourcing, and supply chain organizations.
• Familiarity with product development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of PLM-to-ERP integrations.
