The PositionADI is seeking a highly organized and proactive Litigation Paralegal to support employment and non‑IP litigation matters globally. This role works closely with attorneys specializing in these areas and contributes to a high‑performing, cross‑functional legal team. The position reports to the Senior Director, Litigation and Employment, within ADI’s Legal and Risk Optimization organization and is based in Wilmington, MA.
Key Responsibilities- Litigation, Claims, and Investigations Case Management
- Coordinate, organize, and maintain litigation, claims, and employment-related investigations in matter management systems (Legal Tracker and Navex) and document repository (SharePoint).
- Manage intake and triage of litigation and employment investigations globally.
- Manage end‑to‑end litigation, claims, and investigations processes, including matter creation, legal holds, outside counsel engagement, evidence collection and preservation, e‑discovery, and matter resolution.
- Maintain and manage the litigation calendar, tracking deadlines and key milestones.
- Draft and format pleadings and other litigation filings, responses to charges and other agency filings, responses to demands, and other communications under the supervision of attorneys.
- Apply detailed knowledge of court rules, agency procedures, and filing requirements to prepare and submit accurate, timely filings; anticipate procedural next steps and organize tasks for attorneys.
- Efficiently use legal research tools and procedural knowledge to gather relevant case law, statutes, and facts.
- Coordinate and QC document productions, including e‑discovery workflows in partnership with IT, HR, and outside vendors.
- Prepare and manage responses to third‑party subpoenas and requests for information from external stakeholders (such as government agencies) and internal stakeholders.
- Support management of outside counsel including engagement letters and invoice review and engage with Legal Operations on law firm management matters.
- Employment, Labor and Immigration Team Support
- Manage intake and triage of employment, labor, and immigration matters.
- Support Employment and Labor attorneys with fact development, document review, timelines, data analysis, and management of data and records for employment matters.
- Assist with drafting employment‑related documents and template updates.
- Support the preparation and filing of documents for administrative agency matters pending before the EEOC and state fair employment practices agencies, the Department of Labor, and other global equivalents.
- Conduct preliminary legal research related to employment laws and regulations under the supervision of attorneys.
- Support cross‑functional projects including policy administration, regulatory filings, diligence efforts, transaction support, data reporting projects, and coordination with G&A.
- Engage regularly with cross‑functional stakeholders including HR, Compliance, Payroll, Finance, IT, Security, and G&A leadership.
- Systems, Data, and Process Management
- Administer litigation and investigation tracking and document repository systems, including Legal Tracker, Navex, and SharePoint.
- Develop and update trackers for legislation and regulatory developments; manage stakeholder notifications.
- Generate data concerning litigation and investigation matters and prepare stakeholder reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements for litigation and investigation workflows.
